I dig the whole "stick with the things that work" ordeal, and I could find an excuse for the couple that's behind stuffintwats.com. Namely, stuffintwats.com is a part of the renowned ChickPass Network that is recognizable for amateur content. Maybe a modern design wouldn't fit into the theme of desperate chicks and horny housewives shoving bananas up their holes. Hey, at least it looks good on a smartphone.

The thumbnails don't show any preview. The page chooses to show a couple of amateur-looking photos instead of a proper slideshow or a trailer, and the About us section doesn't exist.
